With over 20 years of professional experience performing throughout the Midwest, Chad has built a reputation for his commanding vocals, infectious stage energy, and genuine connection with audiences.

Paul Jannot – Lead Guitar, Harmonica, Backing Vocals
With over 30 years of performing experience, Paul brings masterful musicianship and passion to every stage he steps on. A seasoned guitarist and harmonica player, Paul is celebrated for his virtuoso solos and dynamic presence that blend technical skill with raw rock energy.
Influenced by legendary bands such as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Van Halen, and The Rolling Stones, Paul’s style weaves together classic rock power and modern edge, creating a signature sound that captivates audiences night after night.

Brian Fahey – Drums and Percussion
With over 40 years of experience, Brian Fahey is the powerhouse drummer who keeps the band’s heartbeat steady and strong. Behind the kit, he provides an essential cog in the machine that drives the band’s tempo and rhythm, ensuring every performance stays tight, dynamic, and full of energy.
Throughout his career, Brian has played in a number of bands that have showcased his talent throughout the Midwest, earning a reputation for his precision, versatility, and contagious enthusiasm.

Andrew Prehm – Lead and Rhythm Guitar
With over 20 years of experience, Andrew Prehm delivers a powerful blend of skill, creativity, and versatility every time he picks up his guitar. Equally comfortable handling lead or rhythm, Andrew’s playing is defined by his creative solos and his ability to adapt seamlessly across musical styles.
Having played in a number of bands including Midwest Crunch, Tiddy, Electric Cat Alarm Clock, and many more, spanning, a wide range of genres — from jam bands and blues to rock — Andrew has honed a deep musical understanding and dynamic stage presence. His versatility allows him to connect with audiences of all kinds, while his expressive guitar work adds texture and excitement to every performance.
Andrew brings a style and unique set of skills that elevate the band’s sound, blending technical precision with soulful artistry to create unforgettable moments on stage.
Frank Laughery – Bass Guitar
Frank’s musical journey began with jumping around on the couch playing air bass to KISS albums before he finally picked up the real thing—an Ibanez Blazer Custom. Decades later, that very same green Blazer still makes appearances on stage today.
After a dedicated 14-year run with Days Gone By, a classic rock cover band that he co-founded, he brings that same veteran presence to The Monkey Kings. For Frank, it’s all about the connection between the stage and the floor—holding down the low end to ensure the crowd is having as much fun as the band.
